The German government announced an ambitious recovery plan yesterday. This includes the pledge to lobby the European Union for a fleet renewal programme of Euro VI trucks for 2020/2021. This would include a direct financial support of 10.000 € per truck. Moreover the German government will support German municipalities investing in heavy goods and utility vehicles to make their fleets “greener”.
